John and I have never been big on family photos, but having Elliot has given us a reason to start getting them done every year. This year, we decided not to hire someone, but to take them ourselves.<\/p>\n

I convinced my beautiful sister (see photos below) to tag along and be the camera focus and shutter pusher. I configured the settings and gave her tips on composition, and then she got the shots. She captured some beautiful shots on her own too. Possibly a photographer in the making? She definitely has a good eye.<\/p>\n

Any photos that don’t have me in them were taken by yours truly. I keep looking through the picture and I feel so blessed to have such an amazing little family. I love my peeps.<\/p>\n
